The redesigned 2019 Honda Pilot perfectly combines versatility and comfort. Drivers in the Santa Ana area need a vehicle that can get them where they need to go in style and comfort, whether they are heading down the coast or up to the Angeles National Forest for a weekend getaway. Take a read through this review on the 2019 Honda Pilot, then come down to Freeway Honda to take a test drive!

The 2019 Honda Pilot comes equipped with a 3.5L V-6 engine. This engine puts out 280 horsepower with 262 lb-ft of torque. The powerful combination of horsepower and torque give the 2019 Honda Pilot 3,500 pounds of towing capacity. Power and style mix with the 2019 Honda Pilot and the 9-speed shift-by-wire transmission that features racecar-inspired paddle shifters.

The 2019 Honda Pilot understands the importance of having top of the line safety features. The 2019 Honda Pilot LX comes with LED Daytime Running Lights, auto high-beams, and a multi-angle rearview camera. Even more, the 2019 Pilot features HondaSensingTM which uses different features to optimize safety for the driver. These include lane keeping assist, which can correct steering to keep the driver and the Pilot in the center of the lane. It also uses Adaptive Cruise Control. This is great for long car rides; it will monitor and adjust the cruise control speed to maintain the preset distance between the Pilot and the vehicle in front of it. The Road Departure Mitigation System allows the Pilot to adjust the steering and apply pressure to the brakes if driving lanes are crossed without signaling. The final feature included in HondaSensingTM  is the Collision Mitigation Braking System, which will alert the driver of potentially impending front impact and will apply pressure to the brakes to decrease the severity of the potential impact.

The 2019 Honda Pilot not only excels in safety and performance but also in entertainment features. The Pilot comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto on the EX and above trims. On top of that, it also comes with a downloadable app for your smartphone, called CabinControl. This will give passengers the ability to control not just the audio system, but the rear entertainment system, and rear climate control system as well all at your fingertips! It also allows for the driver to send an address from their smartphone directly to the Pilot's navigation system. The 2019 Pilot comes standard with push-button start and EX-trims and up come with remote engine start, tri-zone auto climate control, and wireless phone charging.
