The third engine comes on the Civic Si, a 1.5-liter engine with 205 horsepower producing 192 lb-ft of torque. The final and most powerful engine comes standard on the 2019 Honda Civic Type R. A 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder, which generates 306 horsepower with 295 lb-ft of torque. This uses a 6-speed manual transmission only.

With power and efficiency, the 2019 Honda Civic is turning heads, but another critical area where it excels is in safety. The Civic comes standard with Honda Sensing, which is the safety suite Honda offers. It features Forward Collision Warning, which will warn the driver when approaching a vehicle in front too fast. Lane-Keeping Assist will autocorrect the wheel to maintain the Civics’ path within the lane. Pairing with that is Lane Departure Warning, which will alert the driver if they are drifting into another lane with signaling. Lastly, it features Adaptive Cruise Control. This maintains a preset cruise distance between the Civic and the car in front of it by applying pressure to the brakes or accelerator to keep that distance.

The 2019 Honda Civic combines style, performance, and safety to bring a new and refreshing feel to the Civic line!
